The full programme for Wikimania Paris, the annual gathering of the global Wikimedia movement taking place from 21 to 25 July, is now available. Under the theme ‘Freedom, Justice, Reliability’, it features numerous talks across the subject areas Education and Advocacy, GLAM and Partnerships, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Community, Research, Governance & Strategy, Bold Ideas and New Generations, reflecting the major current trends within the Wikimedia movement. Around 1,000 Wikimedians are expected in Paris.

Wikimedia CH is also supporting Wiki AI Fringe 2026, an independent, curated side event to Wikimania. It brings together Wikimedians and the wider Wikimedia ecosystem to move beyond discussion towards concrete collaboration in the fields of AI and open knowledge.
