You want to attend a Wiki workshop or an event in Switzerland? You are an organiser looking to announce your event? We invite you to use the Wikimedia CH/Calendar.
This is a service for the Swiss Wikimedia community. You can announce all Wikimedia events that take place in Switzerland whether they are supported by Wikimedia CH or not, in the language of the event.
You can also announce international meetups and conferences. Please indicate whether the event is in person only or not.

Regular Events with Wikimedia CH
Wikipedia Day
In 2024, Wikimedia CH reinvented the Wikipedia Day as an important opportunity to meet with the Community, Partners, donors and friends of free knowledge to exchange about current topics and get their opinion. In this event we embed the General assembly where active members habe voting right.
Friendraising events
This are meetings whre we invite our project partners, potential partners, likeminded organisations (f. ex. foundations), and major donors to strengthen our relationship and network once or twice a year on different places in Switzerland. This are events in the context of fundraising and (future) collaborations. Interested Wikipedians are of course welcome.
Special interest conferences
Wikimedia CH supports proactively the organisation of special interest conferences (f.ex. Wikidata Days/Wikicite), summits, hack day or edit-a-thons dedicated to the vision of the Wiki-Movement: creating an ecosystem for free accessible data to serve as an open infrastructure for research, education, and information quality across the web.
WikiCons
The term WikiCon – of course, in various variations – is used to describe the annual conferences held by the respective communities of a language region or on specific topics. They are organised by a team of volunteers. Wikimedia chapters give support only. Wikimedia CH is involved in the German, French and Italian WikiCons and grants scholarships to participants.
