SRF has started uploading educational videos to Wikimedia Commons. The videos are also available on Play SRF or at www.srf.ch/creativecommons. The first graphically prepared educational videos come from the SRF science editorial team and can already be found in some Wikipedia articles thanks to the collaboration with Wikimedia CH. This project is a pilot project that will run until the end of July 2024. Whether and in what form it will be continued will be evaluated at the end of the test phase.
The first video uploaded to WM Commons focuses on the most common types of headache. It now appears in the Wikipedia article on headaches. The topics covered by the animations range from nature, the environment and knowledge to health.
