This international competition is supported by Wikimedia CH and Wikimedia Estonia together. Specifically, it is financially supported by the Education & Innovation program of Wikimedia CH. Switzerland once again participated with a national jury and prizes.

The honouring ceremony for the winners of the Wiki Science Competition 2021 is organized by Wikimedia CH in collaboration with the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). The event takes place on 18 May, from 11 to 12:45, at the Auditorium of USI in Lugano.
