On 4 May 2024, Wikimedia CH was present at the Open Education Day in Bern, which was organised by the CH Open association. With the board game “Wikeys”, the participants (especially educators in the field of digital learning) were presented an interesting learning tool that demonstrates the fundamental principles for creating a Wikipedia article: Collaboration, researching, referencing sources, neutrally identifying and structuring different points of view and visualising topics thanks to attractive visual material.
The feedback from the teachers was consistently positive! And of course, the representatives of Wikimedia CH’s Education Programme also had time to network with many stakeholders from the field of digital learning. It was a just great event and we are already looking forward to attending again next year.
