By end of November 2022, Wikimedia CH has completed an important improvement for the privacy of our website visitors. On the website, Wikimedia CH has deactivated Google Analytics and now uses Matomo. This tool is an open-source software that allows 100% data ownership.
The data collected with this tool remains in Switzerland, in our infrastructure and will not be shared. With this step, Wikimedia CH is even more GDPR-friendly.
